Did you read this page, OP? It says "all schools of magic".
The difference is really neglible, if it's there at all, once you have enough dexterity. You have 42 dex, you will not see an important difference in casting speed.
Magic consists of Pyromancy, Miracles, and Sorcery.
You keep using the word magic to describe Sorcery. There is a difference. Magic is what I listed above, as well as Magic damage of course.
Sorcery is sorcery, which is a kind of magic.
I understand if you're not a native English speaker why you may be trying to use the two terms for the same thing but you are incorrect here
Its more damage for the cost of a few milliseconds which is better for mindgames as delaying attacks can be good for PVP
Sage Ring (imo) is only good for PVE when you need to get damage put quickly and to be able to roll away before they attack
