Using cheat engine to screw around in offline mode, bannable?

So I just want to screw around in offline mode, test out builds/weapons and just explore the game without dying or whatever. I'm not even gonna try to go online with it since I don't even play online normally. So my question is, can you get banned if you play offline and don't go online?

If you go 100% offline (aka, no internet), the server shouldn't even be able to see your cheats to ban you.

But I do advise removing all saves and traces of the cheats when you want to go online again

No, you can cheat offline as much as you want in any way you want. However, the moment you attempt logging on with modified data you'll be banned.

If it's builds you're concerned about though, you don't need to go offline to test them. You can safely spawn in weapons, armor, and spells online with no punishment. Or, that's been my case so far for the past month.

Certain noteworthy things that will definitely get you banned are

- Titanite Slabs and Estus Shards
- Gestures
- Boss Souls

There are a lot of other minor things, but those are the main ones.

It wont matter if you get banned because you only play offline. Even in online play you can spawn in items without punishment.

You can restore your save file before going online. But from my experience, you are safe to screw around offline and you don't have to delete the save file before online, if you play god mode. The server just find you are a genius and you have not even been hurt, everything else is normal. But if you noclip, then that's dangerous.

So if I change back to my normal character that hasn't got items modded, will I get banned then since the files has been changed? Like I want to change them to a normal state, not infinite HP/FP, attack and whatnot. Just have enough souls to level up to a reasonable level and be able to upgrade weapons to max.

Yeah I am not doing unrealistic things that you can't do normally. Just to mod the character so I don't have to replay the game just to get to a state that is good.

Certain things will require a save deletion if you spawn them in the game, such as Titanite Slabs regardless if you delete/use it or not. This is because there are a certain number of them in the game, and if you spawn in extra it flags your data. I would recommend making a save backup and testing everything offline on said backup. Stuff like souls won't get you banned (unless you spawn in a boss soul).

To upgrade your stuff to +10 and put Infusion on your weapons without materials, just use the script. It won't get you banned.

And of course like all cheating, all of this may be bannable in the future. I'm simply speaking from personal experimentation.

where do u even get cheat engine, there are alot out there, bot sure which ones are fake viruses or wchich ones are real

I found one a while ago that worked. Haven't noticed any viruses, but I can't remember where I found it. But it's just a preset cheat engine with stuff like souls and whatever

Hm. I won't probably spawn in slabs and such then. Since later in game you can buy most of what you need from that old lady. I think souls is the only thing I will mod, and it's the safest

Like what I can recommend is trying the cheat engine way to just add more souls, then play the game normally until you find the weapons you desire, since it is the safest way possible. If you wish to know how, just google videos on how to increase a value in cheat engine

I would honestly recommend you to download a crack version of dark souls 3 to do so, because the second you will connect online even by accident with invalid data, you're banned, no way to get unbanned.
