Consumed King or Lothric Castle?
Hi just wondering which one I should do first, both seem pretty high in difficulty spike. Also im level 85 and running Black Knight Greatsword Build with high strength.

Consumed king is optional, but it does lead to the untended graves which has some good gear, while lothric is needed to complete the game. I usually go for oceiros first since it leads to a dead end and some extra levels or equipment can help with lothric.

If you do go oceiros hit his leg.

Ok I went for Consumed King and thought it would be pretty hard but was the most easiest boss so far, dont know why though. guess ill go to untended graves next just to farm a bit.

Go all the way to champion gundyr and you will see why oceiros was easier

If you're SL85 and using a BKGS STR build then you should be able to tackle all of the base game content + the DLC with little trouble.

I'm terrible at parry...

For Gundyr, I like to lure him into that hallway and wedge him into a wall with the sword master npc. He'll spend most of the match fluttering up and down the staircase trying to figure out who to aggro.
