Soul of Cinder fight was dissapointing
The last boss of the game was fun, but it was too easy for Dark Souls 3. There were some other easy bosses like the Deacons of the Deep or Yhorm the Giant, but Soul of Cinder is the final boss and that fight was the fight that ended your journey, wich you worked hard for. What do you guys think about the fight, tough? Maybe you have diffrent opinions

Well, since it is my very first Soul game and I started to play it to challenge myself, I had problems with a lot of bosses. But the toughest were the Dancer, the Twinces and in fact the Soul of Cinders. By now they are my favourite battles. Maybe through stockholm syndrome? :D

I think every Souls game has had some overly easy bosses, and while I agree that Soul of Cinder should've been harder, I found it around the same difficulty as Gywn.

I love its design though, so while it was easy it wasn't too disappointing to me, it still felt epic.

Could've been worse and it has been worse before. (Dark Souls 2)

I find the DLC of each game offers a more challenging "ending" boss, thankfully Dark Souls 3 allows you to tackle the DLC after the final boss, so that solves that issue for me.

What about the Nameless King and his stupid big bird tough? I killed every other boss other than him. At least he is optional.

Right. Forgot about him. I didn't find him during my first playthrough (no guide). He ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my ♥♥♥♥ on even the second round. Still a tough fight, but as you can see I regularly forget about him. :D

Yep, I expected it to be harder. Died like 10-15 times to him at SL 60 with my demon greathammer +3. You put your Ring of fire protection and ring of steel protection on and his damage output drops drastically. there are other bosses that hit much harder for the level they're at (Dancer, Suly, Nameless, Princes, abyss watchers.... I'm sure I died more than 30 times to all of those)
I think the maîn problem is that he isn't that aggressive. he only swings 2-3 times, then he waits a second or does someting easy dodgeable (like WoG, soul stream or the pyromancies he does).
The only threats are his combo attack in the second phase and the curved sword weapon art in the first phase.

But I really enjoyed his moveset, at least they did that right :)
Remedy Jun 10, 2018 @ 2:15am
The only (only!) reason for him being easy is that at that time you can easily survive being hit twice, survive his parry+riposte, being able to back up and heal, so you kinda don't care what the guy is doing, you just trade hits and heal, win in the end, since you have 15 estus flasks +10. Doing him on a lower soul level (not even talking about SL1, sl 25 or sl 40 is good enough) is a totally, totally different thing, from now on you will have to actually check what the guy is doing and what his moveset will be, because if you don't, you die, and this is where it hits you. He has lots of different movesets with different weapons, which are hard both to memorize and predict. This is where you thank devs they let you kill him easily giving you enough souls to level up that high :)

Exactly, he uses a heal miracle that heals like 3 hits or something, wich doesn't really matter because he can't out-heal the damage you do when he's too busy healing himself.

Definitely not the hardest boss in the game, not even close to it, but it was at least an interesting fight. His moveset and attacks are varied, etc. Just not agressive enough, as mentioned. Gwyn from DS1 would have been a huge disappointment, both too easy and not very interesting, but I got the feeling they were going for something else with that confrontation, the music, the scene, everything as giving an image of a dying god, like it was supposed to be anticlimactic. They may have been going for something else with Cinder, too, just not sure what it is.

The hardest for me are Nameless (the camera in that fight is effing infuriating) and Midir (two-shot capability + huge health pool = you can't make many mistakes and with that much health there's plenty of opportunity to make them. I seem to take those opportunities consistently)

My favorite fight is Gael. The fight is intense, the atmosphere, they just got it right imo. I got the same rush in that fight that I got with Artorias in DS1.

technically the last boss is gael but you can say the SoC is if you aren't interested in the Dlc's

In every Dark souls I've played DLC before finishing the game by beating the original game's final boss. DS2 final boss was the hardest, DS1 boss I had to try few times, but it was pretty easy too. This one was way too easy. I beat it on my second try without any struggle. I didn't get that final boss feel from him. It's not just the difficulty but it was pretty bad boss overall. The fight itself is decent, but it lacks personality. It tries to copy DS1 final boss too much like the whole DS3 tries to copy DS1 too much.

The good thing is that Gael was nice DLC final boss, which could be played as the final boss of the game. So I think they fixed it with that DLC.

i always though final bosses are the best what game has to offer and following :

dark souls 1 the best have to offer is fat old man that seriously doing nothing but r1 spam.
dark souls 2 the best have to offer is giant rock covered in flames that cant even move
dark souls 3 the best have to offer is 2 phaze boss fight where secend phaze is totaly rip off final boss from dark souls 1 (even music is rip off , so sad)
