How long till you are un-penalized?

yeah I cheated in singlep layer I aint a ♥♥♥♥♥ i'll own up to it. if you really wanna know i just wanted ot chnage my name so i used made a new character and used a trainer to catch up to my other character without wasting hours of my time but thats not important. i just wanna know how long the ban is. its already been one week without any change in the ban status. still says penalized.

It can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, it seems to be kinda random, sorry chief.

Yup, as he already said 2 weeks to 2 months. I did the same and it took 2 weeks to be un-penalized, but I believe you have to uninstall the cheat and delete all the characters you where you used the cheats.

You have to delete the save file, not just the characters.

yeah i also used cheat engine to cheat ♥♥♥♥ in and stuff sdidnt get detected until i edited my stats. it said invalid ♥♥♥♥ detected and then i made another character and deleted the one it got detected on so clearly i made them istake of not deleting my entire save and just the character, hopefully ill be unbanned next week causei m really wanting to play with my friends.

You can use a software to duplicate your character, and use CE to change your name, and reborn your character. It should not be that easy to be cought. Since everything you've done is possible.

Uhm I told about that program to a guy that wanted to migrate a character from a friend's save, and it didn't work, he got banned, but I didn't think about using it to recover a banned (but clean) character of your own from another save.

all i know is if you use cheat engine to change your characters name its instant detect like editing stats which gets you banned. its really dumb they should have a chnage name option just like how you cna re edit your stats with rosaria. and yeah i know don't cheat. but see heres the thing when i have to go grind for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ spear or something i want from lothric knights cheating solves that by making me not have to grind for hours. there is a very huge difference between cheating to make things a little less time consuming vs 4230 blaze it hacks up the ass in pvp or something.

but its ok im not going to cheat any more because i like being able to play with my friends
