How to spawn in a weapon?

So i want to play a build but the weapon I need is towards the end of the game. Will I get banned if I use cheat engine to spawn the item? (never tried any of this before just wondering if it's a possibility)

Use item swap in CE.
Make shure you are offline when you do it.

No + the banwave is weekly i use CE when a cheater adds item's to my inventory that you can't outherwise remove.
As long as you do it offline you dont get a ban anless you do something shupid like give your self 2 copy's of dorkmoonblade or titanite slabs.

Yeh no using the game mechanic is not cheating, using cheat engine to spawn an item is. But whatever lets you sleep at night

They only banner if you go online with a cheated item aka invalid file but my suggestion never cheat, in the end it will catch up to you

There's nothing wrong with using CE to make yourself a build, So long as you don't go beyond your set restrictions. I refuse to adjust anything more than rings, Weapons and armor.
