Siegward quest help

I killed the demon with siegward a while ago when i first went through the area on NG and now I want to progress the questline to go and kill yhorm with him. The issue is that patches isn't selling the catarina armour. Does anyone know any reasons for this?

I dont think i can find patches in the cathedral

"If the Deacons of the Deep are killed or you take the shortcut to Rosaria, Patches will disappear from the cathedral"

I've killed the deacons

Did you go up the tower and get locked in there by Patches? He'll appear above the thrones then.

Patches only is able to steal Siegwards armor if they both are in Cathedral of Deep at the same time.
You should check if Siegward still is sleeping at the Fire Demons place in Undead Settlement.
Or if Patches arrived already in Firelink Shrine.
Maybe Siegward never loses his armor in your playthrough and is chilling in the kittchen in Irithyll?
Many possibilities where your NPCs could be.
