Estus Ring or Ring of Steel Protection +3?

What is more worthwhile in your opinion? for both PvP and PvE

For me: In PVE I use both. If I have to choose because I need to swap out one of them I'll keep the Protection ring for mobs, Estus ring for Bosses that hit hard. For PvP no question: Between the two, Estus ring. Ring of protection gets nerfed in PvP to the point of being nearly pointless.

Life ring 100 procent it makes up for the dmg you take from prisoners chain

Estus ring. Damage resistance rings don't really give enough to warrant using them unless you're stacking your whole gear set toward mitigation. Even then, the lowered damage you're taking makes the estus ring even more useful, given you can take more hits before needing to chug.

Thanks for your input guys. I'm running with the Hawk ring now so its been a toss-up between the two and I'm not a fan of constantly switching out rings every time I need to chug an Estus

anything related to damage reduction in PvP sucks hard so...

Ring of Steel is useless in PvP. You can use an other ring.
