Good Magic Builds SL45-60

Any idea if magic's good in this game?
Or Pyromancy? For PvE or PvP.

If they're alright, what'd be good stuff to get and how much should I put into Intelligence, etc?
Wand / Weapon, etc.
Moonsword thing looks pretty neat.

In pyromancy build ur int = faith. From SL45-60 you can't get enough points to have good build so I recommend to lvl up.

About sorcery.. you will need to get all of the scrolls. One of the best sorcery is Crystal Spear from Crystal Scroll. You can get it by killing Crystal Sage in Grand Archives.

Wand.. i prefer Logan's Catalizator- the best wand I think.

About weapon I am using Dark Sword +10 (use Crystal Magic Weapon on it, very good sorcery boost to weapons if you're playin sorcerer)

About rings.. those are mine and I recommend them:
-Magic Clutch Ring
-Young Dragon Ring
-Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring
-Lingering Dragoncrest Ring

To boost up ur sorcery damage you can use as second weapon (changing with Dark Sword) Scholar's Candlestick which boost ur sor dmg by 12.5%.

Also wear Crown of Dusk ~ 10% magic damage.

Lightning Longsword + canvas talisman + lightning stake = poise through everything

The only Viable Mage build is The Poise Wizard. All you need is lots of VIT, lots of INT, and lot of VIG. 0 spells, all spells are utter trash in pvp. The only spell you need is Moonlight Greatsword, Longsword infused crystal, and a medium shield of your choice. That's the best mage build.

Are buff spells good?

Some weapon buff spells tend to be good, most body buff spells aren't typically worth your time.
That's just my experience.

any good builds for low-level co-op? preferably not pyromancy. i just want to run around and go against bosses with other players

Hitpoints. Stamina. Raw weapons. Min str/dex to use what you want. Pestilent mist and ghsa are all you need for wizardy co op. Hidden body is nice for nuking shield mobs.
