Died in firelink shrine lost all souls

I was going to go trade with the crows and for some reason i thought i'd trade in the inner side
While i was going i slipped and died which is whatever i didnt have ember at that time
But my souls are nowhere to be found i looked everywhere and it looks like they just disappeared completely, i lost nearly 6000 which isnt a lot but its annoying and im afraid this might happen again if im careless again

When you fall your souls may not be at the place you fell, maybe nearby.
Backtrack your steps and search for your souls.

Btw, yes, 6K isnt much but . . . pay attention to ledges.

Yeah, if you fell odds are your souls are at the ledge you fell from rather than where you died at. If you fell twice in fast succession or ran before falling it may be at a location just prior to the fall point even.

I think it is around 5s to 15s . . so yeah, if he was running around, he have to search around for it, backtracking his steps.

I felt once in DS1 in sen's fortress where the golem is. I could see my souls on an unreachable spot. Maybe they are under/in the map. Forget them.

For two reasons this will happen:
1) 1 million souls can be easily attainable

2) You will have lost so much feeling to the point where you are emotionally dead to any detrimental event.
