TL:DR
Also this is more of an advise, a personal experience adivise, I am not saying you really need it as I dont know how you are doing stuff, how you plan to do and how is the way you feel better doing, up to you.
Try to go solo and blind at least untill you killed the boss of the area and explored through the whole area at least once or twice killing everything, this way, you are checking for wiki only for missing stuff you couldnt find on your own and not having everything through spoilers (and that kills a good chunk of the fun, I had some spoilers here and there and it kinda cut part of memorable moments or good exploration).
Dont search for weapons info, mechanics info, etc . . try to figure on your own, it is indeed part of the experience of the game and dont know if you are doing it or not but if you didnt, you will be amazed of how rewarding it feel to find out mechanics, new ways of combat and other kind of stuff at the game on your own.
After you gone through the whole game once .. well, yes, see what you missed.
Having all info really cut the exploration, self development and challenge as you will have knowledge of everything around the maps, always best gears, best weapons, best ways of playing and best cheesy ways of killing bosses and enemies . . .really, it destroyes the experience so much . . . I kinda regret the few spoilers I had on my first playthrough.
Sure . . . if still you want help and spoilers, the community is good and can provide help and info.
(and yes, I help people but I always keep asking if the other player really want me to continue helping, if he dont want to try at least a couple of times before I kill another boss or take him through another area).
I finished the game solo some 5 or 6 times already, but considering I helped a lot of guys through all bosses "possible", I kind of finished the game another 4 times, maybe more, by helping other players . . .
The secret with this game is like the secret for any other game (also the secret for life).
Dont just want to get to your next destination making the way through a boring and meaningless experience, enjoy the ride all the way, the destination will not run away from there (but you may run away from the real destination of you get lost on your values).
Get used to it and use Dancer more as a practice for your weapons and skills than just another boss.
She is not your regular boss at the beginning of the game as she is much stronger, with more more health and faster attacks than other early bosses you will find on your way.
If still, you beat dancer on your own, congrats.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Seriously now, Vordt is the first. Especially if you are a new player. Leave Dancer for later, eventually you will know when the time is "right". Enjoy the game and play it however you want.
