Need equipment suggestions for Nameless King

Yea I know I need to 'git good' and I am working on that, I think I got his attack pattern mostly memorized and I just need to work on executing it, but I'll take every advantage I can get and right now I'm looking at my equipment. Here's what I currently got.

Any suggestions on things I can switch out or am I set to slam my head against the wall?

If you got his attack pattern, try anything that leave you under 30% weight% so you can dodge better and have more chance to dodge after your attacks, also dont use weapons that render you staggered after you attack (aka heavy weapons like ultra great swords, great axes and such . . . ) or time your attacks better if you still want to use these heavy weapons, these do the job faster if you time properly your attacks making each hit count (and I love to play like that, already made Nameless King first try with Dragonslayer Greateaxe at NG+).

Grab a faster weapon, so you can react to his attacks better. Like a lothric knight longsword, buff it with a charcaol pine resin.

P.s. That is very low vigor. Take all intelligence points and faith points and reallocate them you should have 35 - 40 vigor.

Eh, i'm a bit skeptical about switching weapons considering how much damage I'm able to do and just how used to it by now but I will give it a shot, got a couple of swords and spare slabs that I can experiment with.

And not sure if you're looking for build advice, but that's low vigor and really high vitality. The cloranthy ring, even at +3 doesn't do a lot, better off just using grass. Could switch it out for havel's and put more into vitality. And finally not sure what the 21/21 in faith and int is doing for you. You won't be doing a lot of damage with pyromacies with those numbers, or with sorceries or miracles, and if you're maining the black knight sword or other quality weapons you'll see a 30+ AR jump by getting strength and dex to 40 each

Yea at some point i'm probably going poke Rosaria for a respec to a more pure warrior build. This is my first character so I was experimenting around. I was planning on using more of a mix with spells and melee but my first go around I never found Orbeck or Karla and I couldn't find Irina after she disappeared so it threw that plan off the rampart, I kept ranking it up occasionally hoping to find a spell seller sooner or later but only figured out where they were after starting New Game+ and checking the wiki.

Make a decision for either int. or faith and reallocate. I would suggest to get 25 or 30 faith.
Also find some points to increase vigor.
That points in faith are very useful in many boss fights.
For Nameless King you could use: Tears of Denial. Melee fight in first stage. Dorhy's Gnawing in second stage. ( With Sunless Talisman from Sirris, Ring of Sun's Firstborn, Morne's Ring.)

So took a short break and followed your suggestions, reinforced a Dark Sword to max, reinforced it with a refined gem, stripped off enough equipment to get under 30% weight and respced with Rosaria. I took a break from the boss so I could get used to the new dodge range as well as to get some more souls so I could use the Dancers armor, Lothric knight shield and remove Havels Ring for a more useful one and things went much better.

Think I got him within the first 5 or so attempts this time so thanks a lot for the help, would probably be still slamming my neck into his spear without it.
