Health Pool of Demon Prince

Hi,

I have just reached the Demon Prince in the Ringed City. The first two demons are ok, but I noticed that the Demon Prince takes very little damage.

I am SL 164, VIG 50, STR 66, END 40, VIT 46. I have different swords +10 (Fume, Long, Flamberge, Lothric Knight Sword etc.).

No matter which sword I take, the Demon Prince takes only about 200 damage per hit. What is wrong with this guy? Is there a trick do deal more damage per hit?

Has to be black Knight weapons for them also you can use pestilent mist

use dark knights sword deal more dmg to demons

To deal more dmg u need to use weapon that is deep/dark infused, also any black knight weapons does more against demons and he's pretty vulnerable to bleed which i prefer.

Dragonslayer Greataxe, 60 STR, 45 DEX . . . job done.
It usually takes some 300 to 400 damage each hit.

Use bleeding. It wrecks that boss in no time as he is extremely weak to it.

Ok...yesterday I l have been leveling up DEX from 16 to 18 so I could use my Black Knight Swords and leveled them up to +4. But found out that the +4 BKGS gets me only 40 damage more than the lighter Flamberge. I will continue to try with my Flamberge, still have to refinde my strategy for 2nd phase a bit.

Thanks but I already use bleeding...200 damage I get which is low. But it seems to be an extreme endurance fight. i have calculated that I have to hit him 34 times.

Today I had him down to 5% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But then I decided to do one more hit...too greedy and I died :-)

Demon Prince is a testament to learning mechanics over trying to use unrelenting force to kill him.
Learn the moves damage him when you can.
Rinse repeat.
This isnt something you should rush.

Yeah that's my problem. Now I will try "2 hits at a time". Although this will take forever, regarding the large health pool.

YEEEEEEES! I did it! I was too greedy at first. I tried 2 hits at a time with the Prince. Also, I found out that I can roll INTO his jump attack.
