I'd say Dark/Hollow

Hollow infusions are just bad. They are literally never good. Ever.
Heavy is good for several Greatswords though sharp becomes superior on some like Lothric at higher stats. Since you only listed a massive 60 str and no other stat I can assume dex is fairly low so heavy would likely be best without looking. Feel free to Google "DS3 AR calculator" and double check though if you want or just hover over the infusions and see what it does for AR...

Hollow infusions are just good for super high level builds where you have 99 luck and things like that, since most of the time they beat even refined at 99 dex and strength. So they've got that going for them I guess.

It depends on the build. For a Str build, yeah, Heavy is the way to go. Apart from Hollow at really high Str, Dex and Luck the other physical infusions aren't noteworthy. Neither are Poison or Bleed - although the buildup is really high - and Blessed and Simple.

However, it also deals big damage with elemental infusions (more specifically Crystal, Lightning, Chaos and Dark) on appropriate builds.

Its best AR comes in Dark/Chaos infusion, if aiming for a Str build then pick heavy.

Blessed and Simple are useful on a caestus or parry shield for the hp/fp regen while it's in your offhand.

IIRC at 40-40 you get best AR with refined but with 60 str thats heavy all the way. Can also work with Raw since requirement for twohanding is rather low while base damage is decent so you could use it on some two handing mage/cleric buffing it with spell

Tbh if you want to run a poise heavy build go heavy gem and just level str so you save points on dex. Its 20 levels you can put into vit instead. Id reccomend pairing it with a caestus or greatshield if you decide to go this route. Btw 50 str and havels ring are perfect.

Buff builds * like lightning blade etcetera. Go heavy but level your buff stat instead of vit. Again heavy gem is arguably the best.

If you're going for a light weight build and want to mix it up with several other weapons go 30 int and fth once you infuse the Greatsword with a chaos gem.

Greatsword is better off with a hollow build than a quality refined gem. Level luck to 30 and get strength up to 40 or 50 / dex 20 ~ 40;though luck can be as low as 25 if you're willing to stay hollow thanks to the +5 luck bonus while hollow that a hollow weapon will give you. Pair the hollow greatsword in your right hand with a blood infused left hand weapon.

My suggestion is a heavy gem, that way you can add another buff with pine bundles or spells.

Yeah but last time I checked this thread was about the Greatsword.
