getting Splitleaf Greatsword early?

I want to focus my build around that weapon making it heavy str build,with pyromancery and some heals with a shield should i need it. Using shield or 2handed depending on the situation.

I have the season pass but i heard that the dlc is a really high level area, any way for me to get it early?

The Splitleaf Greatsword is immediately accesible once you start the second DLC, a merchant right by the first bonfire sells it. You just have to kill Freide to get there early.

I can give you one because I don't like the weapon, but please do not spam the weapon art. I killed the last guy that did even though we were both invaders. Just annoying.

I don't like the way it looks, Maybe just how you can just stop and initiate it anytime, Not really sure. It looks stupid to me.

EDIT: plus it has high damage. If you get caught in the WA, that's gonna be a lot of damage. I just keep my distance.

i dont know what weapon art is, i just started playing DS3. I choose that weapon because in DS1 my fav weapon was black knight halberd but i read it isnt great in this one and i wanted to take a bit different weapon anyway, but i like halberds because their like a all in 1 weapon. You can stab, you can slash, you got reach. So the only other halbred that looked really cool to me was the Splitleaf Greatsword which is why i choose that one and i am close to meeting the minimum requirements to wield it lol.

Also how do you trade or give stuff in this game?

I'm not really a fan of it either, WA is boring and it looks off. I prefer the Black Knight Glaive.
Splitleaf is buffable though so it is decent for magic builds.

We can trade by using a password and one of us summoning one another.

We can trade by using a password and one of us summoning one another.

I mean i use a controller to play the game? but i have a keyboard and mouse right infront of me too. But atm i am at work, and will be home in like 8 hours xD

ok when you have the chance Then, press L2 when two handing your weapon (or their are shields that allow you to do the WA). Some of the WA can be extended with R1 or R2.

that looks great to clear hordes of weak monsters that could get dangerous if they swarm you

I can use the weapon one handed too right? for when i need i cant dodge everything and may need a bit of defense and just stab away

the only times i pvp is usually for self defense. in DS 1 and 2 i was a sunbro and prolly will be again. Never been in the red covenent, at best i would be one of the blue guys defending vs invaders.

That's cool and all, but I'll still be invading, as others will. People won't like you much if you spam the WA to win.

EDIT: also if they're a good player, they will probably kill you and give you the double point down.
