Plunge Attacks and fall damage

I noticed that in DARK SOULS 3 you now take fall damage from high plunge attacks, is there a way to stop that damage (With actually still doing the plunge attack). Is it possible to not take damage from a high plunge attack?

Spook works as well, if you have enough time to cast it.

Sprint jump down a flight of stairs.

You can plunge strike and still not take damage.

Unviable, but proof its possible I guess.

This. If you do have the stats, it's a handy invader spell cause it also mutes your sound, so while active nobody can hear you walk :)
