Achievements without DLC?

Is it possible to get the 100% achievements without the DLC or do i need the DLC items, spells and whatnot too? I finished the first two games with 100% and i want to finish this one like that too.

Also, how many playthrougs do i need for 100%? I'm assuming 3 because of the 3 endings?

the DLC stuff don't count toward the achievements, only everything in the base game.

and 3 playthroughs for the endings, but you could do it in 1 if all the proper steps are taken and you backup your save just before the final fight.

it's very possible to get all achievements without dlc however the spell achievements and ring achievement require you to max out almost every guild in rank on top of requireing you to play the entire game in new game+3 for every ring.


having dlc only makes the ring achievement easier as ring city has many rings of the strongest form (+3 rings) but you don't need anything from either dlc it only makes them easier as you'll be stronger (you'll have to grind certain enemies for guild items as getting summoned into a world for some are horribly difficult and broken)

not only for the endings but also some + versions of rings are only lootable in ng+ or ng++. So 3 Playthroughs it is

Thanks! I wondered if the +rings count toward the achievement. I'm gonna get the DLC eventually but for now i just want to work towards the achievements as i play normally.
