Is it just me or is the abyss watchers fight very very difficult?
I know, everyone saying that this fight is so easy, but idk how to kill the abyss watcher. In his first phase i can kill him with 2 estus flask left, but in his fire phase i cant beat him. his fire burns me and i have no time to heal me.

in first phase there's one abyss watcher that has red eyes. dont attack that one, because it attacks its own kind. you can backstab and parry the watchers, and they're very easy to dodge. dont give up! if you need help, just ask :D

The Abyss Watcher is very easy to stagger. Watch him do his combos, run in for a hit or two then run out.
Also this may take a bit to learn but when he does the somersault flip and slams his sword down into an explosion there’s enough time to run behind him and backstab him.
I believe in you :2016villain:

I'm still in my first playthrough so my opinion is probably negligible but I felt like the Abyss Watchers was the first fight where you had to develop a strategy beforehand. Bosses like the Vordt of the Boreal Valley, for instance, can be beaten just by rolling up against them and slashing, but for the Abyss Watchers you have to decide when to be aggressive, when to run away, etc.

If you are having trouble in the second phase, what worked for me was rolling to him diagonally in one direction to avoid his swipes and then getting a quick hit or backstab in before retreating away.

Parry or backstab.
Or stunlock.

If you get too close to the red guy he'll agro onto you.

Where's the fun in that?

If you're getting worked up (or not) the best thing to do is take a little break from the game. 15-30 minutes to an hour or maybe even a day. Once you come back to it you'll be surprised how much better you are at it.
Don't give up, skeleton.
