In the ringed city it is very easy to farm them from the clerics, if you are looking for them early in the game, then there aren't any, wait until you encounter crystal lizzards.

I farm it from the rocks in archdragon peak.

Yeah, the rock dragons drop them too. Although they are a lot harder to kill.

farm it from the Shrine Handmaiden. She sells them for like 16000 souls.

I need my Black Knight Sword to rise to maximum... I hope I can get to the peak someday soon... I still have to kill that Giant and then the Dancer... and then the senile dragon...

Get a bunch of the trail shiny stones and then feed them to pickle pee on top of the Shrine
