but yes, its worth it. 1st dlc isnt ground breaking, but it still a great piece of content. dlc2 is some of the best in the entire series.
I read that the first DLC is great for PvP players, is that true? In Dark Souls 2 I wasn't a big fan of the PvP mode.

You can just get the base game for now and if you want some more content after you clear through that you can just buy it then. Or if you feel done by the time you've reached the end of the game (& you've put in 35+ hours) you can skip it and just move on to another game, and you've saved $23 vs getting the deluxe edition.
