I am tired of the cheaters.
There is no point in remaining embered or joining blue sentinels if every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ invader I come across is a script kitty. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

Part of the package called "pc gaming".... welcome to the master race. Dark Souls 3 is a good game worth playing. Don't let the cheaters and hackers ruin it for you man.

odd, lately I've been letting myself get invaded after pontiff and so far only, like, 5 people were cheaters. when I invade I find waay more.
maybe cheating invaders usually don't invade after pontiff?

Or just learn to play. And it's usually mostly hosts who cheat.

Ah yeah, that's where I find most of the cheaters too, by invading after pontiff. Cheating host make up the vast majority of the DS3 cheaters/hackers. You wanna see some cheaters... start invading.

Invaders are in general better players so they cheat less. It is only when you do not invade it might feel like there are more cheaters there.

You guys are right. I've been loving the game so far; putting it down because one cheater ruined my day isn't fair to myself or the experience the game provides. Thanks for the support.

How to behave with cheating invaders:

First of all backup saves. Absolutely necessary.

If the invader uses a curse dagger, or anything displaying the 'humanity stolen' message, there's not much you can do. Hopefully you backed your saves.

If they have infinite health/stamina/estus or simply no hitbox you can have fun with them. You have to keep in mind that people resorting to cheats are mostly bad at this game. They get frustrated easily and you can take advantage of that.
Do not equip the way of blue covenant. You want to 1v1 that poor slob.
Put your weapon away. Dodge. Don't run away. Just stand there and dodge. Throw in a few dung pies. Dodge. Point down. Dodge. Spam the clap-clap emote. Dodge. Turn your back on them but keep them in check. Dodge. Get used to their attacking pace. Dodge. Concentrate a bit and then parry when you feel it's the right time. Don't riposte after the parry, throw a dung pie instead. Dodge. Parry and point down. Dodge forever.

Enjoy as the frustration meter fills up.

They'll disconnect/crystal out at some point. You might even get hatemail.

I love this. It's like an early christmas gift, thank you.

My pleasure really. Cheater shaming was a great hobby of mine on DS1. I have yet to be invaded by cheaters on DS3, I meet them only when I invade (won't complain about it though).

I have only met 2 cheaters and both of them were hosts hosting a pontiff fight club and they gave people cool effects by hitting them. So they werent even the bad type

I thankfully have yet to run into a cheater, host or invader. xD Though I make a habit of backing up my saves regardless just in case.

Eh you have to be careful about this, I did this to some dude and he got mad and tried to crash my game with the whole mega spell spam teleport thing. Luckily it seemed as though he did it wrong and ended up returning home nearly right after it started. The issue with cheaters is that you have no idea how many cheat tables they've downloaded.

Ikr, but idc. I back my saves.

I remember receiving death threats once on DS1, a jerk saying he'd tracked my adress with my i.p. and that he'd come to stab me and my family. I just answered that he should be careful, cuz his infinite health does not apply irl.

Still waiting on that nerd to show up.
