How did I get the farron keep bonfire?

Just noticed that I had the farron keep bonfire even though I had yet to kill the crystal sage. I went back to firelink and then teleported back to "farron keep" bonfire thinking that it was just the name of the bonfire in road of sacrifices, but then suddenly I'm in this completely new area I've never seen. All the guides I've looked at online seem to suggest farron keep AFTER cathedral of the deep, and I'm not even there yet!

Farron Keep's enemies have far lower health than all the enemies in the Cathedral. Bad guides. Cathedral is also MUCH longer.

Still though, I never went there so how the hell did I get the bonfire?

It's right at the bottom of a random ladder, maybe you activated it and forgot.

You just mistaken, or did not remember correct :)

Ohhh I see what I did. Those two dudes with clubs that attacked me - the bonfire after them is the very start of Farron, I just didn't go in. So road of sacrifices is a hub that connects to cathedral and farron.
