Smouldering Lake enemies
Are super annoying. These guys with the fireballs. You get caught in there fire attack and its a 1 hit kill . That attack does like 1000 dmg. And it has like 270 degree coverage in front of them. So if your trying to manuever or roll behind them and you get stuck or blocked by anything ..Forget it . Its over. The areas are tight and its hard to manuever. Definetelly the worst area in the game. Plus the area has several head jumper Ghnus. Just very difficult to proceed through it as a in your face melee type Knight build. Very annoying..

Viper, I remember your posts from april complaining of difficulty. You still haven't learned to dodge/roll? After 188 hours? :O

In DS3 of all the games, avoidance is key. Nothing in smouldering lake is that big of a deal if you know how to avoid the dangers. You can always stun and stagger them too.

Its not that the area is hard.

You seriously did not even comprehend my post did you. You think I just stand there and hammer on them. I have gotten that far and beat the Pontif. By just stnding in front of a foe and spamming R1..lol. I guess I should ignore the toxic stuff and just converse with those that want to have a conversation ..Yea I never have rolled or dodged once in the entire game. That makes sense doesn't it. Get serious.

If your still having trouble just finish the gru fast and hit the fire guys hard. If you have an UGS or something this would be a good time. Daggers work too if they have the dodge skill. You can just sidestep the fire and it works well indoors.

Really though, we just don't understand why your having trouble with this.

They are easy compared to those dragon type lizard thingies in Nameless King map. Big ones annoyed me to no end with their ability to two shot me.

Well you'd be the one choosing to spam r1 I front of it soooo... that's on you.
The demons themselves aren't even if bug threat as long as you deal with their floating chaos orbs... those are annoying. The ghrus are simply scaled up and some skeletons shouldn't be that much issue and even less the basilisk... apart from the black knights and Tsorig, the main threats are spread fairly throughput the level excluding the ghru packs and super ghrus always just being super ghru.
