Go to Steam's big picture mode and edit the controls in there.
Now i cant even USE the controller in the game. Nothing responds.
I mean, i was doing that, but i managed to figure it out. :'D
Hey, its really simple. Open Big Picture mode on steam with your PS4 controller plugged in.
As long as your PS4 controller support is enabled (It is on default), you can select Dark Souls 3 from your library, and below PLAY-icon theres (MANAGE GAME) with a cog icon.
Click that, and from there you can click on [Controller Configuration], and it will show you your controller. At the bottom you can click [Browse Configs], and on the left theres [Community], which opens up community uploaded configurations [LIKE PS4] is the best one.
After you click on it, you can apply as a default for yourself.
