they will ban you only if you did stuff like reseting rossaria or having a +99 longsword.
Used DSfix and Watchdog back in Dks 1 with no problem, stop spreading lies.
Another mod to improve FPS/Resolution/Graphics.
theres no need to explain that becouse theres none, only 60 FPS mode used to have some issues like clipping or slowmode and that caused to trigger the anti-cheat, besides that the mod worked well.
also was WARNED by the mod about that option anyway.
The DSFix mod came with a warning in the ReadMe.txt file stating to use the 60FPS unlock at your own risk becuase you may be banned for using it during multiplayer. He's not spreading lies.
As far as I know, I have heard people claim they were banned just for using mods. FromSoft can ban for anything that breaks the EULA, so if you want to verify I would read through it and see what it says about modifying the game. If you are concerned about being banned, I would avoid using the mod to be safe. I actually tried Souls Unsqueezed and at least for me, it didn't work that well to begin with so it's not worth the risk. I never got banned for using it, but then again, I only had it installed for 5 minutes. Could be safe, but who knows, it's From's game! You really should email Bandai Namco to get the best answer. Forum lurkers like us won't know for sure!
Not mod its legit and this one its safe.
Dark Souls used a form of DRM that prevented the 60FPS fix from working so the fix had to disable the DRM which of course had the potential to get you banned (no one had ever been confirmed to have gotten banned because of it though as far as I can recall).
Dark Souls 2 introduced native 60FPS support (with a bug related to weapon durability at 60FPS), Dark Souls 2 SotFS kept 60FPS support and eventually received a fix for the durability bug (community had to really shout at FromSoft to get them to finally fix it!).
Dark Souls 3 has native 60FPS support.
if you want a more detailed answer, why not ask the mod creator himself here on steam in his own thread about the mod?

and since noone seem to have got it, this is obviously a joke. noone got banned in dark souls 1 ever for anything.
