Best stats for Strenght/Faith build?
After playing through all 3 Dark Souls games, I've always played all physical, without using any magic or casting attacks. It wasn't until recently I replayed the first Dark Souls with a Dex/Faith build, and it was probably my favorite character I've ever used in the whole series. Using fire balls, and lightning spears was a blast.

I didn't go with Magic or casting in DS3 cause people said it was weaker than in previous games, but I still wanna use magic, and make it work with a Strength/Faith build. Mainly using Miracles and Pyromancies.

My problem is that I don't know which stats should go where. My current stats are as follows:

Level: 194 (NG+3)
Vigor: 54
Attunement: 12
Endurance: 62
Vitality: 41
Strength: 65 (It's actually at 70 cause I'm using the Knight's Ring, but 65 without it)
Dexterity: 13
Intelligence: 15
Faith: 14
Luck: 7

Gear:

Right hand: Yhorm's Great Machete
Left Hand: Heavy Caestus
Head: Lothric Knight Helm
Chest: Firelink Armor
Hands: Silver Knight Gauntlets
Legs: Outrider Knight Leggings
Rings: Knight Slayer's Ring, Hornet Ring, Chloranthy Ring +1, Knight's Ring.

Equip Load: 49.2 / 81.0

Weight Ratio: 60.7%

I added all my gear so people would be aware of my weight, so I won't do the 'fat roll'

I hope that some of you could give me suggestions on the best possible way to distribute these stats into a Strength/Faith build instead of just all Strength. And also the best rings to compliment this Str/Fth build?

I appreciate your help!

Usually to get the most damage, you'd go 60 STR and 60 FTH. But since you're so high level you could easily do 66 STR (so that yo uget 99 STR when two handing weapons) and 60 FTH.
The rest of the stats can be dumped into the other stats.
VIG is an often ignored stat for some weird reason, so 40 is a good amount.
If you want to use Miracles get enough ATT to get 4, maybe 5 slots.
And the rest probably would be best put into END and VIT.

Like I said, you're quite overleveled(when it comes to PvP atleast) and there isn't much of a "real" build anymore. You got more then enough points to put them wherever you want them.

EDIT: As for people saying Sorceries are bad in general, don't lsiten to them. Sorceries only suck until around the midgame. Once you put some points into INT you get decent damage and when you reach 60 INT you one shot most common enemies and destroy bosses.

I'll definitely take note of your suggestions. Thank you! And the only real reason I'm not using sorceries is because I just really like the visual aspect of offensive miracles and pyromancies more than sorceries.

Also this build won't really be geared towards PvP because I'm ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE at PvP :/ I go to the PvP arena on occasion if I'm bored, but I mostly do PvE, and I wanted to change it up if I do NG+4.

if its for pve then just level whatever you want, you are already like in dead-zone for doing coop.

Just add minimum faith requirements for buffs, because those will be the only useful miracles. And obviously the necessary ATTN to have enough spell slots.

So you should equip only the Lingering Dragoncrest ring +2. Maybe instead of Knight Slayers Ring because it's nearly useless in PvE, except for some situations. Also you should equip either Life Ring +3 or Ring of Favor +2 (if you are at ng++, obviously if you are not, use a +1 ring instead).

I still plan on using Miracles and Pyromancies that require high Faith. I love me some Sunlight Spears!

You're almost SL200, you can easily afford it without sacrificing anything lol
Drop 4 VGR, 22 END, all INT, a bit of VIT, keep STR at 40 or 60 or somewhere inbetween and pump that into Faith till you hit 60 (or whatever FTH your spells need). Maybe 24 or 30 Att. To actually make Miracles hurt, you also need the fitting set or Rings (Sun's Firstborn, Morne's, to a degree Lightning Clutch and Sage Ring +2).

Should I use Sun's Firstborn ring as well as the Clutch ring, or just one of them?

Not really.

Im almost the same level as him. Had many summons for Duels, invasions, bosses (DLC mostly) and sometimes helping around Anor Londo. DM blade is barely alive and Farron are hanging on a thread of life.

It really depends on the miracles you wanna use. Currently focusing more on two handed right now but got 35 Faith wich is good enough for Lightning Stake, Force and healing miracles. You could remove the Knight ring (Since 65 strenght is pretty good) and go for the Darkmoon ring (More Miracles) or the miracle boosting ring (Suns firstborn or something) depends what you really want. I'd say get atleast some lvls out of endurance/vigor and dump them in Faith/Attunement.

This is what i use with some light armor, Wolf Knight GS, Grass Spirit Tree Shield, Avelyn, Sun talisman and Crow Quills. If needed i can switch some rings and i got a diffrent character more focused on other stuff. So its a Jack-of-All-Trades character.

I think I found something that works!

Vigor: 41
Attunement: 30
Endurance: 45
Vitality: 32
Strength: 50
Dexterity: 10
Intelligence: 20
Faith: 49
Luck: 7

My spells are Chaos Bed Vestiges, Lightning Stake, Force, Rapport, Soothing Sunlight.

Also using the Dragonslayer Greataxe, which compliments the stats well. It's very fun using spells again after having a blast with them in Dark Souls 1.
