So, a question about the Old Monk fight
I've always been curious, now that playing this game has become a chore, due to the number of 'hackers,' trolls, and unbalanced/meta-weapon users... What happens if the -boss- disconnects? Whether it be through alt+f4ing, or through their game crashing, what happens for the person challenging the boss? Do they get a free win, or shoved out of the boss fight to restart?

Are you asking about the Demon Souls boss or the Spear of the Church fight in DS3?

Same health, or full health again?

He doesn't care, he's just trying to show off by announcing "hey everyone, I played Demon's Souls! I'm a senior authority to whom you should defer!" in the most annoying, narcissistic Vanderbilt-y sort of nasal tone you can imagine, if you know what to imagine there.

Whether or not he's actually played it is less certain, given he doesn't seem to understand the mechanics of a near-10 year old game he's flagrantly implying he's a veteran of.

If he were actually interested in the mechanics of the Old Monk he'd be asking on a Demon's Souls board, if he were actually interested in the mechanics of the Spears of the Church he would have said "Spear/s of the Church."

LMAO calm down, kid, I'm just curious what happens during a disconnect. I've only ever had experience as the boss, only played the fight as a player once or twice.

Well it kinda does matter because if you knew what the boss fight was you would say the right name. Also yes the NPC would pop out, probably at full hp.

If the summoned player disconnects, either from alt+F4, Black crystal, or terrible internet connection, the NPC named "Halflight" will spawn instead with full health.

Hah. I was curious if Halflight would ever show up except offline. And at full health, too. Imagine fighting someone and using up all but 1 of your estus, or -all- of your estus, only for their game to crash, or their internet to die, and you have to fight Halflight without heals. That'd suck xD
