Dark Souls 3 100% GPU usage? Help appreciated.
So everything on my computer is working perfectly fine, but for some reason whenever I play Dark Souls 3 it uses 100% of my GPU?....
Anyone know how to fix this? I got a GEforce GTX 960M graphics card if that helps at all.

Addition: I know very little of computers, I don't even know if this is bad or not but I assume so.

Well, first of all, which settings do you have in the game? low, mid, high or ultra?

High.
I tried it on medium and low and that didn't do anything.

If that doesn't seem accurate tell me, I am going off of what my Geforce Experience is telling me.
Again, I am sorry I am clueless when it comes to computers.....

GPU usage is based on VRAM being used. VRAM is like a special RAM used exclusively for video game graphical rendering. Unfortunately, we just can't help you without knowing how much VRAM your GPU model has.

Example: If you had a 2GB VRAM model and your game was using 1GB, you'd probably have about 50% GPU load.

Hello a 960m is really the minimum this game needs to run power wise (FromSoftware PC port after all). Seeing as how this is a laptop gpu that is just another thing this game is not optimized for. I have a gtx 870m 3gb and it is fully maxed out as well. High GPU usage is not necessarily a bad thing what likly more important is temperature inside your system. Download "Hardware Info / hardware monitor" programs that will allow you to monitor temperature in your system. Ideal tempuratures for CPU and GPU would be 60-70 Celsius. If you have a slim metal laptop your temps are probably higher like 70-80 C.

The Only Fix would be trying a program like throttlestop that can limit your FPS in game to the lowest number you can stomach however if your temps are fine then I wouldn't worry.

its useing 100% because your gpu is weak (a game is supposed to utilize 100% of the gpu anyway)
