Is it better than Longsword? (PvE wise). Im new to pure STR

its range isnt great but the damage should be better. It also has its unique variant of the warcry WA. On my strength builds I perfer clubs but thats just me.

Milwood Axe is one of the best light-weapon options for pure strength builds.
While not as useful overall as heavy broadsword (which, while having less damage, has better reach, good R2 and useful Stance WA) it deals extremely high damage for a light weapon.
Like ~450 damage with 40-60 strength?

The moveset is pretty generic among axe category, but WA is... Actually unique: its better in PvP to charge people (or NPCs) but is less useful against big PvE enemies (bosses, especially) because the time you spend charging is time in which the boss can smack you into the ground.
