Greirat Questline Failed?

Hey guys,

So I sent Greirat off to pillage.... but I sent him off after the Sulyvahn fight. I did have Seigward in the right place however.

Have I actually failed the questline or is he going to come back? Only thing I haven't done after Sulyvahn is kill another boss. I've ran back to where the kitchen is, haven't seen his Ashes there as mentioned they would be yet, so...

Greirat will always return after you kill a boss.For as long as siegward is still sitting in that kitchen greirat will be fine.Do not visit Irythill Dungeons before Greirat returns.And one last tip:Walk steadily and carry a big gun

I sent greirat to pillage irithyl after I had already visited the dungeon and the capital (and killed pontiff cause that’s where I pvp). Wiki says that the quest will fail this way. But if you make sure that siegward is in the kitchen above the sewers and YOU DONT TALK TO HIM he will stay there to save greirat. To answer your question I guess greirat will be fine

Greirat really wants to live. I did not think it will work at all, but i sent greirat to FIRST and SECOND pilligrimage AFTER i've already killed Yhorm w/o seigward.

First i killed Oceiros, and he came back from the first pilligrimage, then i sent him for another pilligrimage, threw catarina armor to seigward in his well, and after killing Ancient Wyvern he was back.

Seigward isn't in the dungeon.

One thing I want to know about his ashes...

I wanted to buy the Lothric Knight Greatsword, rather than try to get it from farming. If I retreive his ashes from Irythill, will he sell the Lothric gear?
