Mini freezes [solved]
Keep getting an issue where my game will freeze for a second. Here's a video of it..

https://youtu.be/5DXloQnbCGw

I remember trying Dark Souls I in the past without any issues though but now I am having the same issue on there as well. Ended up refunding it. I've upgraded my PC since then.

CPU: i5-6600 > i7 6700k
Motherboard: H110M Gaming > H270I
Dual monitors now as well

I've tried playing without an xbox controller(wireless). Installed SKIM64. Optimized settings on GeForce.

Edit: No issues after installing Intel BlueTooth Driver for my motherboard.

Slow Harddrive maybe?

I put it on a 850 Evo SSD but I had the same problem so I switched it back to the HDD

Try the usual stuff:
Check the game files via steam.
If nothing else works, re-install the entire game.

re-installed my entire operating system. Still nothing. Checking to see if windows updates will solve something hopefully. Had them off.

Woah, that was unecessary. If your system works fine, and all your other games work fine, then its a Dark Souls 3 Problem, not a PC Problem on itself.

Typically it looks like Harddrive trying to load in textures, and thats why it freezes.
But you said you have an SSD and it did the same there, so its not a Hardware defect.

It has to be your game. Verify Game Files first, if nothing works, reinstall.

This is pretty old but there may be something that can help you fix the problem:

Some possible solutions:

-Check your power settings, make sure is set to "High performance"

-Verify the game files (you already did that)

-Try running the game in windowed mode

-Turn off g-sync/freesync

-If you are on Windows 10 make sure you disable Xbox DVR

-If you have a Xbox 360 controller you can try this

No, you DO NOT set your NVIDIA Power Settings to High Performance.
Unless you like 60+C° Celsius as Idle Temperature from your GPU.
It should stay at adaptive, and it has NOTHING to do with freezes.

Windowed Mode also doesnt help sh.it, and the XBOX DVR just gives you less FPS, no freezes.

It was about time I re installed Windows anyways.

Have an older SSD holding windows and my old HDD still installed. I'll try installing it on one of those two when I get home.
