Using Cheat Engine offline

Now before you guys go butchering me for using cheats, I am going to play offline and this will have nothing to do with you guys online.

The thing is, I love Dark Souls 3 and its combat system but I absolutely hate the idea of iframes on the roll, so I tried to find some mods that removes iframes from rolls but it doesn't exist.

I want to use Cheat Engine to remove iframes from rolls and try playing game like that, you know actually dodging the blows instead of being magically immune to them.

Is there anyone else who has done this? Is it even possible?

And most important question of all, will this get me banned?

make a backup
one for online play
the other for your CE offline play

They get banned. Usually it's only if they are stupid enough to do it after the warning though.
