prism stone is pretty useless in DS3
Don't know if you can survive that drop? Toss a prism stone off it and listen for the scream.
Forgot your way through Farron Keep swamp? Leave a trail of prism stones.
Invading and want to lure a host to a specific area? Prism stones are shiny, they'll grab the host's attention.
Helping someone through an area and want them to pull a lever? Mark it with a prism stone or three because hosts are idiots love shiny things.
