Is force useless?
What can I use force for it seems to do nothing but just push enemies back?

I swear the arrow knock back is a lie I get het by the arrows anyways.

It can also blast arrows and bolts away if timed properly (don't know about greatarrows though) and can guard-break people who are blocking.

Probably after quite a few of them, or it doesn't work on him at all. He's pretty strong (Muscular) after all.

you cant throw him off the ledge, i once made him fly off and he just hit an invisible wall

Apparently you haven't seen all the amazing dark souls 3 pvp clips I've seen where multiple peope get forced off a cliff with one cast. I love dark souls 2 but I don't understand why they nerfed Force in Dark Souls 2. It barely staggers hollows and large enemies with a lot of armor won't feel a thing. In pvp it's only useful for temporarily staggering someone or trolling someone during an invasion. It's a lot harder to knock people off a ledge with force in dark souls 2 since it doesn't actually send them flying back.
