Does the Knight Slayer's ring do ANYTHING?
What's the point of having a ring to make guards break quicker if it has next to no effect on greatshields?

Fashon, I guess? Personally, I just use bleed or dark to break through a shield

I would think if you used a quicker weapon it would wear down the stamina of a greatshield user faster too, but I'm hardly an expert on PVP. :P

What's the point of the ring of the evil eye +3 if it only adds 2 hp compared to the +2 version? or why use the stoneplate rings if pellets give almost the same resistance? speckled stoneplate? wood grain? flynn? aldritch's ruby? reversal ring?

Of all the things you could complain about, it had to be something that makes the stance from straight/greatswords guard break pretty much anything with one or two attacks? did you really expect to spam R1 and then faceroll everyone who blocks?

I use the Sellsword Twinblades and an MLGS. Both did absolutely nothing with the Knight Slayer's. Twinblades buffed with CMW.

It has the same effect on greatshields. You can check what weapon has the biggest stability damage, use the ring with that, and have enough stamina to swing 3-4 times, and voila. Alternatively use hoof ring AND tsorig ring and use kick.

Helps against medium shield turtles. Sadly it's useless against anything better.

Knight Slayer's Shield is one of my favorite rings when I'm using something like a Dragonslayer's Axe or Splitleaf Greatsword. I do notice a difference, and it helps destroy people who'd normally last much longer, which is very useful in invasions.

Don't bother with hoof ring. It's useless and a waste of time.

The horsehoof ring is what's actually broken. It doesn't work at all, it seems (Patches ripped us off, lol).

I enjoy them and think they're fantastic weapons. I'm just asking if the ring does anything when it felt like it didn't. But I guess everything falls down to "you're retarded haha" rather than it being the ring itself?

I don't think assuming that the ring does next to nothing and asking what's the point of it is the same as asking if the ring does anything.

Not to mention how easy it would had been to simply do a google search to find out everything about it.

No, you ask what the point is if it does nothing. But it does something. hich makes you stoopid. And it's not the ring, because the ring does something, you just don't know it, because your weapons aren't good at breaking guards. Kick would be much better than those weapons. But you didn't know that, and didn't bother doing a 1 minute google search, which, again, makes you stoopid. So you presume things without evidence, don't do any research, and do everything else in your power to look stoopid. I rest my case.

use a pyro build with a dark infused weapon and black flame/serpent. these destroy the greatshield abusers.
