A cap for faith?

As the title says.
Some said 60 is cap for faith? or should i increase it further for bigger damage?

you will get minimal gains after 50 really, best put the points into attunment as that doesnt really have a cap to speak of

There is a difference between cap and soft cap. That means, that further investment will increas your damage but will have diminishing returns. It is worth it. But not for quality builds or 120-150 lvl meta players.

Mm...so what to level up then? I got vig at 52, att at 30, 5 slots are fine for me, 37 end, 20 vit..what else?

down vig to 49

[40+13x-3=17x-363]

Never go above 49 vigor, those are wasted points. 40 is the softcap for end, could place those points there.

You could also increase str/dex to use more weapons. And there is no softcap for vit, you could increase it for heavier armor.

Are you going for a faith strengh build or are you trying to be a pure caster. Wich is a bad idea in general in ds3. you need at least one stat wich feeds into propper scaleing of coresponding weapons. Unless you infuse a weapon with chaos/ dark/lightning. Then you still need 60 int for ample damage.

Yorshka's chime is best if you playing with 60 faith.

if he only uses buff miracles, for a battle cleric, saint's or canvas is good too (sunlight has the strongest unf. prayer)

indeed. a lots of clerics use both. yorshka's for ranged battle and buffs and canvas for pointblank sunlight spears

I use sunlight talisman due to it's poise. It seems that every attack would stop me from casting, while using other talisman than sunlight. but with sunlight, neither fume interrupts you from casting

Nope, 40 and 60 are softcaps, 99 is hardcap.
