I personally prefer a dark infused greatsword, but if you're pure strength, then it is, since it's got a high poise health and damage

Ran into a ganksquad of fuggers at untended graves a while back. Gives me conniptions.
Personally I like the BKGS for twinkling titanite, but the fume is also good. The BKGS gets that demon bonus and I like its weapon art.

Ah the FUGS. The very first meta weapon ever. Classic. They nerfed it into the ground, but it's still decent. Many more UGS are better though.

No, it is not.

Fun bonus, it doubles as a shield, very good defenses

66 STR+blessed weapon=696 AR, strike damage, has the same poise health as most great hammers, but with more range and better moveset. Also has block frames on stomp besides the absorption bonus when used.

i died to fugs like 2-3 times in my career and it was because of the lag or the guy was lucky
As others have mentioned, on a pure strenght build it is pretty good, even though you're gonna take a while to use it because of the 50 strenght requirement. Also unlike most unique/boss weapons, it can be buffed, which makes it especially useful on later NG+ runs.

Two-handing a weapon gives you a virtual +50% STR bonus, so you will only need 37 STR if you want to two-hand it. But switching it to one-handed mode will make it utterly useless as it will not deal any serious damage.

You need 37 strength to hold it two handed. And if you're one handing a strength weapon, there's something you're doing wrong.

I take it you never parry and never play with greatshield? Also, you never use that one-handed different moveset on STR weapons? Sad life.

If you're going to parry, switch to a parrying shield. You don't need to passively one-hand. And no, I don't play with a shield while using a weapon that has high damage resistances.

I'll deal less critical damage if my str value is 37 even if i two-hand it.Usually i just go for 66 str and switch between 1h and 2h.Great for killing dexfaggots.

That's why I always go full measure 99 STR builds.
