cant beat crystal sage

like for real, the first phase is so easy, i get him to half health and he pops up his clones, he and his clones spells does oneshots me instantly and i cant even dodge them, when i go in and attack the real sage i just get killed anyway so whats the damn point?? i cant kill him when i get close to him because his clones bombards me with spells

The real one has purple colored magic , also his weakness is bleed (try a thief dagger)
Also equip magic resist gear and consume blue bug pellet

Look at the purple magic; you can also summon Eygon for this fight. :)

an advice I can give you is to equip some throwing daggers, the clones only have 1 hp and throwing a dagger at them will make them disapear allowing you to easly fight the real sage without dealing with the soul spears

kill clones first, do not forget to dodge all the time, then get close to the sage (not in front of her) and hit her as many times as possible.

Seriously, she's too easy. It's like fighting Pinwheel all over again.

Kill all clones, or just run at all of them hoping one of them is the real one

I've been told to kill myself and quit the game because I couldn't beat a certain boss.
The community is pretty firmly divided into the 'helpful and friendly' side and the 'toxic git gud manchildren' side. Steam forums seem to contain far more of the latter.

you must dodge Toward the spells and I-frame them otherwise they will track you down, the only exception to this rule is the crystal beam he fires on the ground.

and by the way how much vigor do you have since you are saying the spells one shot you ?

Wear light armor to run and dodge faster. Use a fast hitting weapon, a broadsword can do the job very well, per ex. ( Btw: I prefer to kill her with my Dark Hand only.) Spam dat R1.
