Save Transfer?

I have been playing a non-legit version of the game and I'm enjoying it so much and I really want to buy it. All that is really putting me off is the possibility of losing my progress. So does anyone know if save transfer possible if from a non-legit version of the game? It's in v1.12 and I think the most recent update is v1.14 if I'm correct. I can try to update the game through codex, since they have the newest update available but I'm unsure if it'll work with the current installation which is a repack from Fitgirl. This game definitely deserves the money, I just really hope I'm able to continue with the progress I've already made.

No i dont think so. The save file is located in a random named folder with letters and numbers in it. Those letters and nubers is your steam ID, which is different for all and cracked game too.

It may be possible but its a tedious process. If ya wanna know ill tell ya.

I'd recommned getting someone to family share it and trying to get it to work first.

Yeah if you could, please? I get that the steamid is different in cracks and I get that the save is in my folder in DarkSoulsIII in the roaming folder, I just need a method that'd work. I'm pretty inclined to buy the game along with season pass so I'd love to be able to have my progress resume.
