Fighting a massive Dragon shouldn't feel like a fair fight, and you shouldn't be able to block his attacks, it wouldn't make sense. I think it's fine as it is,but that's probably because I like BloodBorne. The fast pace is cool. It feels satisfying to beat a really fast boss with perfect dodges and counter attacks, instead of just poising through their attacks and hoping you can kill them faster than they can kill you, like 4 Kings, or Prowling Magus.
Wake up buddy. DS1-2 pve are made for disabled grannies with no brain cells left. You just press L1 and R2 and kill bosses in 10 hits or less,
Bloodborne was only good souls game, Thank god DS3 took it to the heart and at least made some bosses hard and interesting
Bloodborne was one of the weakest and easiest souls games. I know I beat 80% of the bosses first try even Orphan of Kos. As well as 100% the game my first playthrough.
Could you give some examples? What bosses are so "overly agressive"?
The only "endurance fight" I found in the whole DS3 was Gael. I hate his tankiness so much that I always massacre Corvians for the Storyteller's Staff to cheese him.
Nothing is easier than DS3, Press R1 to win,
Pontiff Sulyvahn, Dancer, Gundyr(Unintended Graves), Namless King(2nd Phase), Soul of Cinder,Gael. All these bosses are manageable and even fun with faster weapons but they get on my tits with slower weapons, do to them generally being faster than most DS bosses in the past. I don’t really hate these bosses I just find them to be extremely harsh with some of the slower weapon. In the later NG cycles using a heavy weapon and making a single mistake can often cost you your life.
I'd venture nearly all the frustration in this game is the game going 'yeah, sorcerery is fun!', 'play a cleric!', or 'Why not use bows and daggers?', and then shutting you down hard 40hrs in if you didn't do full 40/40 fast-roll melee... exactly like Bloodborne. Pfft.
When does the game even remotely imply "sorcery is fun" or "bows are viable as a main weapon"?
That aside, you're just trash garbage if you can't get by with a dagger.
A mistake, probably, but it does have a certain logic to it.
