What's so similar about them? DS2 has its "man in armor" theme, but what's so similar about the DS3 bosses?
Agile Jumpy Humanoids (usually with a leaping attack that makes them vulnerable and a wide-angled sweep to catch people trying to roll behind them)

DS1's and DS2's roster was fairly evenly split between "big guys in armour" and non-humanoid monsters/demons.

DS1 didn't really have many "dudes in armor". They had the demons, but they were 5 times your size and looked impressive. DS2 has a bunch of dudes in armor, just a little bigger than you. And ripoffs of DS1.

Not sure what that list has to do with anything. I said that DS1 and DS2 had a fairly even split of big guys in armour and non-humanoid monsters/demons.

DS2 has about 40 bosses. Of these, 14 are "big guys in armour". 24 (those 14 included) are "humanoid". Hence why I said a nearly even split.

DS1 has something like 25 bosses. Of these, I'd say that 12 count as non-humanoid. Again, why I said a nearly even split.

Understand now?

Which ones are the humanoids in DS1? Gwyn, O&S, Artorias, Iron Golem, who else? It's been a while, so don't crucify me. I don't really count the Demons as humanoid.

Isn't fresh. Most of them move their swords so slow, and have little variety with moves. Looking Glass Knight looks awesome, but the only difficult part is if your invader is laggy, or you aren't good at PvP. The actual guy himself is slow, and doesn't deal enough dmg too fast to make you scared. I'd rather have some pretty fast dude who jumps around, like Nameless King, or Gael. Or some big monstrous thing, like Midir, or Demon Prince. I don't want some Dragonrider who can hardly move, and falls off the arena half the time.

They really aren't. Remember, these are the same people who'll say "ORNSTEIN AND ARTORIAS BEST BOSSES EVER. I LITERALLY CRIED AT SOUL OF CINDER".

I'm pretty sure it's just a joke at this point.

Strictly humanoids would be Capra, Priscilla, Gwyndolin, Kenan & Kel, Four Kings, Gwyn, Iron Golem, and Artorias.

If you include "not human, but still bipedal weapon-wielding guys" (as I did by counting DS2's Last Giant, et al.), you could add Asylum Demon 1, 2, and 3 to that list, along with Taurus and possibly Nito.

It might bother most people, saying "oh, yet another complainer about rolling, gotta git gud lol" but it's worth a shot. Most of what might even be considered good bosses end up just being about rolling and pressing R1 at the right time. Some have shorter windows to attack than others, some have faster attacks, but mechanically they're all similar. Difference is, they look and appear different from eachother and that's about it. I will give credit though, as the designs of these bosses are some of the best in the series.

That's what every boss in the series is... rolling at the right time and pressing R1.
Well that's the point of the entire series is not dying and dealing damage but some of the bosses in demon's souls have puzzle bosses. The the clone mage chick, only one of the clones uses a bigger spell blast plus she comes back to life from a dude who you see above the boss room, phallanx isn't a bunch of blobs but a core you need to destroy, the fat dude with the bird head needs to be hit in a wound in order to knock him over so you can hit the bird. Yhorm and Wolnir are the only bosses in the series following to actually involve a puzzle mechanic, to my knowledge, and they're the worst bosses in the game. You know now that I think about it DS2 had a few good or alright puzzle bosses. The scorpion chick, the chariot, the medusa, and the invisible tiger.

When you take a boss and give him a mechanic that involves more than just dodging and hitting you need to give it a really good idea in a game about dodging and hitting. The Chariot is probably my favorite because of how tense the situation is, there are skeletons blocking your way, you can hear the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing closing in on you, and when you crash the chariot the big reveal of it being the horse was actually kind of shocking.
Bloodborne would be my 2nd place, but the rest the same as OP.
1: Bloodborne
2: Dark Souls 3
3: Dark Souls 1
4: Dark Souls 2
5: Demons' Souls

Demons' Souls was a great game, but by god, was the PvP literally aids. Nothing but Stormrulers and Scraping Spears, as well as infinite immediate-heals. No reason to do any of that again. Darksouls 1 was by far better than 2 in everythng but gameplay mechanics, but Bloodborne and DS3 both beat everything by a mile.
Dks1- First one i played back on the ps3 so its probably mostly rose tinted glasses but i like it
Bloodborne- Does what dks3 sort of tries to do but is alot more original and I like the Lovecraftian setting
Dks2/Demon souls- Both seem to play a bit slower than the others I think dks2 gets unfairly ♥♥♥♥ on, dks2 pvp is the best and most diverse in the series and DeS's is best forgotten ;)
Dks3- Good but very linear and the weapons are very samey and I think the fast paced combat is done better in bloodborne

3. ds2 because rather then making complex challanges they made unbalievable copy and paste ganks, the bosses are bad for the most part and most of them are reused as enemies, and there are only 4 good bosses out of 40 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOSSES!

2. dark souls 1. the first half of ds1 is as perfect as a game gets and is the one we remember, the human brain has a function to forget the bad things in life DS1 SECOND HALF IS TRAUMATIZINGLY BAD! but the conclusion is good. unlike ds2.

1 dark souls 3. dark souls 3 takes the level design of the first half of ds1 the pvp of ds2 the fast paced combat of bloodborne and the complex design of the bosses from demon souls and improves on it.

havent played bb and demon souls but i think bb would be third and demon souls 4th

Oh yeah. The second half of DS1 really sucks badly. If that section was a standalone game, I'd give it a thumbs down. Shame.
Another souls game in the vein of the first half of Ds1 would be nice.

There's something not so satisfying about having teleportation on the get go.
