Look, if you're being honest, then what happened was you probably picked up some weapon with impossible stats. That's unfortunate and it sucks but it's not the same as picking up hacked embers, it's not like all hacked items leave some kind of paper trail, just ones that have been maliciously edited.
In case you didn't know, you can't drop titanite for players anyway, unless you're hacking that is. A person with 1000 hours could be on a new playthrough, plus it doesn't even matter if he didn't need them, he wouldn't get banned for it. You also won't get flagged for having items unless they're not in the base game.
Oh and you can't give people titanite. The only way that would work is if a hacker spawned them into your game. Idunno if the game flags for titanite based on your point in the game anyway though. Someone would have to test it but I actually kinda doubt it.
Put simply, YOU C A N N O T GET BANNED for picking up 99 of an item. Only if the item is impossible to obtain, will you get banned. 99 embers, 99 chunks, 99 monkeys, anything.
There, problem solved!
