Anyone played Demon's Souls on PC yet?
I am interested if my crappy PC can cope with it or not...

If you own the game, it is. Anything else is up to debate, but there are no laws here against that.

I think you need a good CPU. I have an i5 7600k 3.8 stock, 4.2 boost. It might as well run. I can overclock it to 5.0 GHZ however. It's still not perfect, just like Zelda BOTW.

Dunno about the GPU.

Using an emulator isn't illegal. Using pirated games with an emulator is illegal however. So if he were to buy the game for PS3, then play it with an emulator, there is nothing wring with it.

BUT emulators use up too much resources usually, so a crappy PC will not put up with it likely.

BUT there is a thing called PS Now (it's a monthly subscription thing), it's STREAMING the game, so a crappy PC will play it too. If it's available in your country that is. It isn't in my country. So research on this matter.

I was going to get PS Now just to play Demon's Souls and I couldn't find it listed in the available games. The list went from Deception IV: Blood Ties -to- Derrick the Deathfin. So I didn't bother with the subscription.

Too bad there is no Demon's Souls or Bloodborne. I'd subscribe just for these two games.

Well too bad... I didn't really search for it, because I can't have PS Now either way. In time maybe they'll add Demon's Souls, so keep an eye on it.

You can try an emulator, but if you really have a crappy PC, even a PS3 emulator would have problems. But you'll never know unless you try.

Thanks for the feedback.
AMDFX3600SixCore at 3.5 GHz, 8Gb RAM, and a MSI R7 370 Gaming G4 graphics card here. Not sure if this is already called antique...
About PS Now...I thought it only works with a PS3?

Sorta, it's available in Japan on a similar subscription service "Play-Asia", but I don't think it's actually PSNow.

I just don't want to spend money on a Bluray drive and the game just to experience it won't run on my machine.
