I just bought DS3 and it doesn't have any sounds. Trying to change from headphone to speaker but got negative result. Someone help please. Kinda sad playing without sound.

have you restarted your game since changing playback devices? most games (being about 99% of them) won't detect the change until they're restarted entirely
have you verified the game files? could be an issue there

How to do that?
in your library, right click on the game, click properties (very bottom) then go to local files and click verify integrity of game files

Have you checked the settings in the dark souls 3 menu ? They could have all been set to 0.

The only other problem I've experienced is after an update to my pc the speakers wouldn't work at all until I used a restore point to undo the changes.

Basically what I'm trying to say is. Does sound still work outside of DS3 ?

Change WINDOWS settings. Do you have 5.1? Is windows se to 5.1? If not, do that. If yes, change it to 7.1.

Same with quad, stereo, anything. Change it to how it's supposed to be, and if that doesn't work, change it to a better version you don't have.

I already check the sound setting in ds3(put to max) but still got no sound. Sound is fully working outside the ds3. Other games have sounds.

What do you mean change to 7.1? I don't get it.

I'm not a native english speaker, but I'll try my best.

Go to playback devices, right click speakers (the ones you use), and click configure.

That is a problem because the configure button cannot be changed (It turns grey). I don't know why but I can configure for my monitor speaker but I use headphone.
