Best PVE weapons on current patch / regulation?

What are the best weapons available for PVE NG at the current patch?

It used to be that you couldn't beat starting with a Raw Astora's SS, then later switch to something like Anri's SS or a Carthus Curved Sword.

I understand all 3 of those have been nerfed. So what are the best PVE weapons now, available early enough to be relevant to an NG playthrough?

The best PVE weapons are the ones that you like the look and moveset of.

If you actively pick those with the best stats then the game will get very boring very quickly.

Depends on the build,but in dark spam 3 an straight sword is the way to go pve.

Broadsword, Flamberge, Millwood Battleaxe, Greatsword, Exile Greatsword, BKGA, BKGS, Morne's Great Hammer, Great Club, Ledo's GH, Mad King's Curcifix... etc. etc.

Anything is good really.

There is no best PvE weapon. Every weapon in the game is the best PvE weapon.

Great Axe:

-available right away
-♥♥♥♥♥ on any small/medium and sometimes even large mobs
-with 27 str and heavy infusion gives you a huge damage for barely 17 levels of investment
