How to create MODS for dark souls 3?

Hi, does anybody knows how to create MODS for dark souls 3? For example.. if i want to create a new armor set, or a new weapon what are the steps to follow? (Which is the best program to use, how to save the files .DDS .PNG .JPEG.? etc.

I don't think you can make brand new armor sets or weapons. You can retexture weapons, armor, and items though.

What about modifying the form itself of an existing item (weapon, armor, etc)?

I don't believe you can, you can try it by replacing the model texture of an item with a new model texture, but I doubt it will work.

No. Because most Mods for this game are virus' and etc. if you don't know how to code why do you want to mod?

this comment is completely wrong, very few mods result in viruses, stop spreading lies on the internet

plus you dont need to know how to code in able to mod, thats basic knowledge. it just makes it easier if you know how
