Current Meta Weapons?

Hey, I am about to dive into NG+ and I would like to know which weapons should I give a try to, and what weapons should I upgrade, before I confirm my Journey n.2.
I prefer STR weapons over DEX, but you can recommend me those also.

Straight Swords or UGS. There's no other and there will be no other meta

Except katanas, greatshields, crossbows, curved swords, spears....

Well if we talk about str weapons only, greatswords and ultra weapons. Because those are the str weapons.

I have a Greatsword +10, but I don't know what else should I try out. I tried upgrading my Wolf Sword, but soon found out that would be a waste, as I can't really use its moves efficiently.

You have to find your own weapons, because Wolf Sword I think is great. Tastes differ.

Yeah indeed.
I heard heavy infusions are at their peak, speaking of STR builds. But I don't know if they're more powerful than their maxed titanite counterparts.

Yes I do, got the game on summer sale, 100hrs played since then, probably 40 of it is afk'ing by bonfire and reading wiki's and forums to educate myself and discover lore

I kindly asked about a weapon, specifically best UGS for DEX build, because you posted a full weapon tier chart. That's far from asking for a "build", tried to even get to your ego by showing respect and praising your 1k hours spent on game, I guess that only made you salty.
And for reference, I did make my own build. Not a clue how it would stand and compete with meta builds and competetive, but it's mine and I enjoy playing with it - https://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls3/220803
As previously said I actually spent well over 30-40 hours on just reading about lore, weapons, calculating stuff and planning my build, but w/e bash me if that's going to make your day brighter
