Hollow gem infusion, luck and hollowing

So, hollow gem infusion makes the weapon scale with luck
Does the hollow stat (from yoels dark sigils) effect hollow infusion, or the luck stat in any way?

You only must be hollow and holding a hollow infused weapon while doing so gives you up to 5 luck depending on the upgrade level. You can have two hollow items equipped at the same time for a possible bonus of 10 luck. Sigils don't mean anything you just need 1 so you are hollow. Finding weapons that are good with hollow infusion is just a lot of testing you need to do or youtube searching.

So is it just the 99 hollowing that effects it, not the actual dark sigils?

Yes. But to get 99 hollowing is quicker the more sigils you have as each death I creases hollowing based in an amount related to the number of sigils you have
