Can i still continue siegwards questline if i picked up fire keeper soul before deacons?

I picked up the soul before i talked to him in the well and now i cant get locked by patches in that tower

is there any way to fix that mistake?

There was no mistake, patches can either catch you in the tower or you can meet him on the bridge if you go that way to Rosaria for the first time.

Did you light Rosaria bonfire already?

You did not screw up, just go to Rosaria through the bridge and you should meet Patches in Onion armor there

I did get thrown to giant by patches but i didnt light up the rosarias bedchamber bonfire

What this guy is saying, and if he is not there somehow, he should anyway lock you in the tower if you go up wheather you took the soul before or not.

siegward is in the well outside church bonfire after u open the church front gate
just go back to ur shrine and go up the tower where u pick up fire keeper shoul after kill church boss the tricky guy ll lock u up even u dont meet him in the church and u can buy siegward armor from him

Yeah, Patches will lock you in the tower any time as long as you spoke to him in the cathedral of the deep.

Ok, I know the OP issue is resolved already, but just for the info, you do not have to speak to him if you open Rosaria from the rafts he will lock you all the same.

so i'm in the same situation but i've already killed the boss behind the altar or whatever, patches (as siegward) told me i already killed the giant and that's literally the last i've heard or seen of him, from what i can tell he's meant to be in the castle somewhere? no clue how to get him to move to the well outside and i can't find him where i think he should be no matter how many times i look.

Patches becomes a merchant in firelink after the tower encounter. He will sell the armor. If sigeward isn't in the well then make sure you defeated the demon with him.

strange, i did the encounter where you jump down foolishly and he follows after you right before getting stuck here and i have no clue how to either get patches to move to firelink or same with siegward and the well.
