Swamp Hodrick?

I been at this game for ages, never seen this until now... But AI Holy Knight Hodrick had a purple-white sign in the swamp.... Was that ALWAYS there? (POR - Near the crucifixion woods bonfire toward the back of the fort, near the rocks along the estus shard path)

my guess is that most people get their asses torn apart on the road of sacrifice so you might just have never came through there embered before

Mn, no. I think it is because I usually speed run through there and never go where I needn't. I do go in embered but, not usually THAT spot. Cool though.

I just noticed it too. Only saw the summoning sign when embered.

Normally i think this sign is there only if you didnt get invaded by hodrick in the undead settlement because you can skip the boss by doing the sub zone where you can get the mound maker convenant jump down to the church and skip the whole undead settlement and go straight toward next zone. By doing that hodrick doesnt invade you and would make possible the view of his mark where you saw it

its always there, even if you killed him when he invades in the undead settlement. he's also much, much stronger than his invasion form.

Ik im on ds3 guide they say is attack can do up to 2000 in ng+ they said if the boss is alive his summon mark can be there thought i dont know if they mean the great wood or the cristal sage it was my bad

Other than being a slightly tougher Hodrick fight, he can be very useful for taking on invaders since he attacks any kind of player. Though it's a very risky technique, I can recall multiple times when I summoned Hodrick and he helped me finish off invaders in just a few hits.
